"United States and North Korea- Are we going too easy?"
Original Opinion by ekoc (21)
The recent attacks from North Korea on their neighbor country South Korea, should we take a stance as the most powerful country in the world and solve this conflict? Or is it none of our business and should it be left alone?

In a war there is no conflict as to who would win that. South Korea is a heavily industrialized and metropolitan state with a modern military. North Korea is a largely agricultural country with hand-me-down cold war Russian and Chinese military equipment. Barring Chinese involvement south Korea will be fine.
However this brings up a larger issue. If china DOES get involved, do we risk a super power war in defense of an ally?

If china got involved, i suggest that we send troops to the inevitable UN force that would be deployed. if we keep taking matters into our own hands the world will continue to see us as a warmongering, imperialist state. also, if china did intervene i bet they'd intervene AGAINST North Korea: having a nutjob with nukes just over the border is probably worrying them too.

south korea would win on its own but there is the possibilty japan or china might get involved considering north korea may be a nuclear power or just the biggest bluff in history if north korea is dumb enough to invade and then retarded enough to use a nuclear weapon itl be the death of north korea and they be stupid but there a dictaorship so why bother puting your riegn under threat it realy doesnt any logical sense not that it seems they have any
