"Osama Bin Laden DEAD! Was killing him the best idea?"
Original Opinion by ispep (39)
As you know by now, Bin Laden is dead, killed by American NAVY SEALS.
I was curious as if you members on UnitedIssues.com thought it was a good idea to kill him? Would it have been better to capture him?
Let's hear it.

If we captured him, our country and troops would be in much more danger. If Osama Bin Laden was kept alive and held by us, his followers would attack our forces and citizens to get him back. Killing Osama Bin Laden was the only option.
Killing him showed the United States does what they say they will do. Justice will served.

are leaders probably wanted to capture him but its probably for the best that he was killed in part because having him killed in some grand procession although nice for us would probably only had to the martar effect
also i dont think you could keep the guys in seal team from killing him even if they did capture him and idont think we could blame them for it

Since the Navy SEALs were met resistance when trying to capture bin Laden, and could not have done so without risking their own lives, they killed him.
That is the right choice in the situation. Obviously we would have liked to capture him, gather what information we could from him, and put him under a global trial and then execute him, but it couldn't be done under the circumstances.
But Hoorah to our Navy SEALs.
