"Is Obama worsining our nation debt? Or helping it?"

The president claims he is lowering the national debt, but he is proposing so many new plans such as health care or stimulus plans that I don't know what to believe.

Health Care reform, stimulus plans... I mean come on. Both totally unneeded, country has no money, and the only thing we do is tax the rich, somehow that will get us out of a 12 trillion dollar debt... good plan Mr. President, spend more and lower our dollar!

Have we forgotten that Reagan tripled the national debt? That GWB more than doubled it?

Vultren is complaining about taxes; have we forgotten that Reagan actually raised taxes numerous times during his administration; The Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act raised taxes by $37.5 billion per year, and the Highway Revenue Act of 1982 raised the gasoline tax by another $3.3 billion, legislation raising the Social Security tax rate (a $165 billion bailout of Social Security), the Deficit Reduction Act of 1984 which raised taxes by $18 billion per year, etc. Reagan raised taxes 6 times between 82 and 87, including the largest corporate tax increase in history.

Have we forgotten that it was George W. Bush, not Obama, that raised our national debt to 11 trillion dollars? Are we really going to blame the current President for the necessary bailouts that added to our debt, or should we blame the previous president who accumulated the debt and the necessity for bailouts in the first place?

Is Obama stupid? If you don't have money you don't spend. Simple as that.

So if the Republicans are so bad as you say they are... why are the Democrats proposing bills worth TRILLIONS of dollars we don't have. Unneeded bailouts that do nothing, and healthcare that doesn't need to be fixed at this current time. Not only that, but Obama has a war and a recession yet he gives Indians (Native Americans) billions of dollars of money we owed them years ago.

The thing is, we don't have the money to spend. Yet Obama is adding our bill higher and higher... its as if he is trying to sell our America to other countries. He's simply dumb and doesn't understand economics.

Reagan raise taxes and double the deficit doing his presidency .
Bush Cut taxes for wealthy started a private war in Iraq and triple the deficit . But we didn't here anything but praises for these men . Obama inherited the worst recension sense the great depression from a republican control congress and a sitting Republican president and you peoples have done nothing but whine about how he trying to clean up the very mess that the GOP help create .Republicans should stop being so hypocritical and come up with some new ideas in helping this country get back to prosperity , Saying No to everything Obama want win them back a majority or the presidency.

Spending money is not a good way to make money. All of his plans have failed because he depends on people "doing the right thing" over making more money.

Putting outrageous fines on Chinese tires for example. I recently went to get new tires and they were priced really high. I figured that because of the recession, but then I heard the clerk talking to another employee while I was filling out a check.

They were talking about how this idea of Obama taxing Chinese tires were stupid, because with Chinese competitors out of the way, that means that American companies can just price them higher.


Overall, he's failing and costing us way too much money we won't be able to compensate for.

He is doing a wonderful job of turning us into a banana republic to where the large corporations control the large government. Just wait until we actually have to resort to rationing due to the fact that all businesses but the Walmarts of the world (which the left pretend to hate) are taxed and legislated out of existence. What he is doing is nothing short of bankrupting us intentionally, and we should have reason to believe this as he does have a cabinet full of radicals that actually hate our country, our way of life and blame us for all of the global problems. If not, Mr. Obama is as stupid as he appears. I am hoping that it is just his stupidity but I have zero faith in him wanting our world to be anything but a "worker's paradise" to where we have one currency, one wage, and one worker's union: Of course, the SEIU.
