"Casey Anthony not guilty?"

Original Opinion by ispep (39)

This is another OJ Simpson if you ask me, not guilty!?

I understand the rules of evidence and how court works, but how wrong of our criminal justice system to allow a murder to walk the streets.

Justice was not served. What do you think?

"Burden of proof" by Vultren (126)

The burden of proof wasn't there. Unfortunately our legal system is made so that criminals who kill are allowed to walk the streets.

I agree, justice was not served.

"Not on Murder One" by TonyRobinson (10)

I think she is guilty but I can not say for sure that is was intentional.
So I would have said not guilty on the murder charge but guilty of manslaughter, which was one option the jury also said not guilty to. I would also say guilty to negligent homicide if that were a choice, but not murder.
I think if the prosecutor played it smart and focused on the manslaughter charge instead of murder one, and never mentioned the idea executing the first lady in Florida in many many years the jury would have convicted of the lesser charge.
