"Arizona Immigration- Doing the right thing? Or making racial assumptions?"
Original Opinion by ispep (33)
The local police are finally doing something that the national government should have been doing the whole time. I understand that we are a nation of immigrants, but not illegal immigrants. The legal immigrants are what this country is built off of, not illegal.
I believe that the state of Arizona is doing a wonderful job of enforcing the law. This will cause illegal aliens in that area to stay away and if they want to come here legally, they should do it the correct way.
What do you think?

Besides anyone who actually read the law (and isn't completely retarded) would understand its not racist.

If it weren't for American illegal immigration to Mexico, Texas would not have fought for independence and the Mexican American war would most likely not have been fought. America would be a much smaller, weaker country. And how exactly is the law going to be implemented without racial profiling? will blond blue eyed people be checked to make sure they aren't illegal Scandinavian immigrants?

Nobody is randomly checked to see if they are here legally!!!
Everyone when stopped by the police is asked for some form of ID. I am a white that speaks perfect English but it I had no ID when asked that would arouse suspicion as to why. Then upon further investigation they discover that a person is illegal or not and yes I have heard of white people being deported.
