Give up?! If we were to all just "give up" we wouldn't get anywhere.

Just because a country or a (continent in this case) isn't doing very well, it doesn't mean we should give up on them.

If the Americans gave up during the Revolutionary War because they were not even considered a nation at the time and were fighting the worlds strongest empire, we wouldn't even exist right now.

No way, you can't just give up! Try more is what I say. If we just give up, we won't go anywhere!

With the formation of the African Union Africa I actually showing signs of growth and progress, soon they may be as strong as the European Union. No reason to give up, they've almost won!

"a stretch" by Stogie (7)

Isn't it a little bit of a stretch to say they've almost won? Africa is a continent with many many countries, one may be able to resolve their issues, but they won't be solved as a whole. The movie Blackhawk Down is one of many examples. Africa may one day become a great country, but it is not going to be soon and more than likely not going to be done without help.

That's why the African Union is so great, Africans are now working together and helping each other to fix their problems, a huge step in the right direction. Don't be surprised to see africas fortunes change in the near future
